Beauty is Deceptive
When I was young, my mother used to tell me, “People with fair skin, pretty eyes, handsome looks, had done a lot of merit in their past lives.” But here I am wondering, what’s the point of having the external beauty if your inner one needs a major cosmetic surgery. One that even the best surgeons in 90210 can’t provide. One that even the best prophet on earth can’t help. The only way to actually repair it is if you really want to.
“All that glitter is not gold,” I have heard it all before but hearing it and meeting one myself is incomparable. They come with a genuine smile, the honey drop of words, and the sweet sparkly eyes. Honestly, looking at them from the surface I can never tell that they are nothing but a box of Pandora. “I hate liars,” they say firmly. “I would never lie to you,” they go on.
On the other hand, I have people in my life who are walking with the attitude, doing things openly, with their don’t-mess-with-me eyes, now that’s what devils appear to be, as they are. For me, it’s better to be dark, asymmetrical, short, than to be beautiful with jealousy, deception, not to mention totally split personality.
It is easier to fix your nose, inject a few Botox, tuck in your stomach, but that mind needs more than just a scalpel. It takes one’s own strong will to create the inner beauty to conform with the external beauty.

Devils or Angels, nobody is perfect. Some try so hard , while others don’t at all. Yet we decide to decipher what they have to say as per our own convenience. Everybody is flawed. But well, as the saying goes “Like a person for their greatness, but love them for their flaws”. Deception is all your choice. And due to our so-called “own deception”, we blame these faults onto others. So well, before we make a statement, we should all look at that person staring at you in the face every morning when you brush on that make-up or stroke our hair. Just a food for thought.
