A Visit to High-school

Question is this, is that really what some of us need, a visit to our high school because I know I do sometimes. There’s a bit of drama, sports, romance, criticism, a very strange but a good strange encounter, a long with other High Schoolish stuff like melting down, breaking down, or having a crush on a forbidden person (many persons to be precise!) and all that.

Flipping through the newsletter of my old high school not out of boredom but more of for the smile that was on the cover, I found out that an-older-than-me building no. 3 is currently under construction. Next thing I know it will look brand new just like the fancy high school building I once studied in.

I also spotted my all time favorite teacher still teaching there doing a bit of an interview, not the first of course. Thanks to that Mrs. B that I am here, although I really wish I could carry Mrs. B in my pocket everywhere I go just in case I am about to make a grammatical error.

And finally ta-dah to Ms. Rashee Pandey, who represents Thailand in a speech competition at London, all I’ve got to say is it was her smile on the cover that lures to open that newsletter. I knew I was going to see a whole new set of Director, teachers, students, the whole fun fair, career day, to ROTC day, God I almost forgot ROTC existed!

But now I remember what it was like in high school, my mini newsletter trip to high school reminded me that at the end of the day, you’ve just got to be yourself and if you fall down then get up and get going there’s a whole life in front of you and trust me you would love to see it.

P.S. to Ms. RP I do hope that you won that competition but either way I am sure that your speech just as inspiring as your smile!
