This version of Twisted Tuesday is not just recommending a song, it’s a must have podcast. As I was doing my usual daily dose of Facebook updates, I stumbled across Bangkok Podcast which is in line with what I am going to be doing for Ideaverse. So I decided, why not listen to it, I may or may not fall asleep listening to two farangs talk about Bangkok but either way, it’s for research purposes.
After an episode where Greg and Tony interviewed Megan Kobzej, a blogger of Bangkok Reality Smackdown, I was hooked. I began to download one episode after another and in the office, I am, I repeat, the only one laughing to the screen of my day to day work that even my co-worker had to turn around and glanced.
From the Bangkok roaches to the dating scenes in the city, throwing Thai related jokes here and there; it’s witty and certainly lights up my morning. Having been listening to Bangkok Podcast for about a week now, I must say, the more I listen, the more I miss my hometown in all ways possible.
Love the street side food, motorcycle taxi, so-called Thai smile, the hidden restaurants, and the cockroaches, rats, and even snakes in some corner of the street. In a city like Bangkok, there’s so much to see, so much to uncover. Greg and Tony, you guys rock.
